BE STRONG/KEEP THE FAITH

Keep Calm because nothing can bring you peace but yourself.

Many lives would be saved if:

  1. We were already under quarantine

2. Grocery stores, pharmacies, delivery services & others that remain open were under strict protocols

3. Tests were free & available to all

4. People stopped saying it’s about fear when it’s about containment

Things may not go the way you planned, but that doesn’t mean you lose hope. Stay positive and stay focused.

5. People helped the elderly & vulnerable get needs met w/o coming into contact

6. Hospitals & emergency services got support from government, vendors & community to expand beds, equipment and personnel

7. Those who think they have COVID-19 assumed they did & acted accordingly

Live each day like it was your last. The past is gone and tomorrow isn’t guarantee

Every item i have listed is being vigorously opposed by the republican party in the U.S at the current moment, who effectively controls the whole country.

But it’s really an amazing act of social solidarity: We’re sacrificing so we can give nurses, doctors and hospitals a fighting chance. Start from there and hopefully we can figure out the rest.

Except that the social solidarity isn’t coming with any measures to support the uninsured, independent contractors, nonprofits that provide social services, working parents whose children will in all likelihood be at home for weeks.

If you’re being true to yourself and it isn’t enough for the people around you, maybe it’s time to change the people around you.

Lastly, unpopular opinion: People are worried about getting the coronvirus, but pay no mind to the bad decisions they make on a daily basis These same people allow bad habits to deteriorate their character and destroy their lives on a daily basis But yeah, keep worrying..

“Man, I’m terrified of catching this virus.” As they pull through the fast food drive-thru for the fifth time this week.
