“Where focus goes, energy flows”

Start with who you wish to become. Shift to how that person would act. Shrink to what you can control. Reverse engineer your goals through the power visualization combined with consistent action. Incremental gains compound into greatness beyond imagination.

Consistency is way better than intensity . This is how you become the best in the world. Relentless and laser-like focus on your craft every day for your entire life. Most people do not have what it takes.

The practice of directing your attention is the practice of meditation. Show up. Day-in, Day-out. Chop Wood, Carry Water.

The opposite also makes sense. Externally, be confident in your ability to develop GRIT, to gain more trust. Internally, be humble, to seek new knowledge and cover blind spots have Low Self-Esteem here.

Consistency and a willingness to get started is key. Whether you are improving yourself or starting a business. Don’t give up because you don’t see the immediate benefit. Keep at it and you’ll be very happy that you did and very pleased with the results.

“Feeding the right wolf” — the one you feed is the one that grows!

Just heard 92-year-old Auschwitz survivor Dr. Edie Eger speak tonight: “Pay attention to what you pay attention to. Your attention becomes your life.” Love it when meaningful insights are repeated across outlets and across spheres of influence.

It is also very difficult. You need discipline to practice it consistently. And with that, consistency is more important than time intensity. But both together is a tenacious combination.

Real confidence is not to enter a room and think that you are superior. Real confidence is to enter a room and think that everybody is equal.

“When one teaches, two learn.”

Absolutely. What is life after all? One philosophy says life is a game, and without understanding and hence, focusing on what game you’re playing, you’re going to end up involuntarily playing a different game, which can cause consistent suffering.

The magic of compound interest (in something) other than seeking external validation and acceptance from others. Focus; very big a word, for gotta build enough momentum to get off the ground.

You are what your deep, driving desire is. As is your desire, so is your will. As is your will, so is your deed. As is your deed, so is your destiny. — The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

To teach is to learn twice.

I call “compounded attention” beliefs. I you don’t believe the impossible is possible, you will stop before you even start.

Your philosophy (beliefs) become your thoughts. Your thoughts become your words. Your words become your actions. Your actions become your destiny. What you believe becomes who you are.

“Feeding the right wolf” — the one you feed is the one that grows!

Be authentically humble. And supremely confident. It is an irresistibly magnetic combination.

It’s only the confident that express humility.

Externally, be humble. Internally, be confident. Humility and confidence are not exclusive. You can be humble and still project confidence.

External confidence isn’t a lack of humility. I’d argue that true external confidence is being able to accept the views of others without feeling threatened.

Plus, external confidence doesn’t need to be the same as arrogance. It’s just being calm within yourself, accepting what you are capable of and what not.

Two players that have a massive effect on your success. I’ve seen both qualities in those who are highly.
