Confidence And Humility

The way you think determines the way you feel, and the way you feel influences the way you act.

A humble and confident person reflects the sanity of the mind, for humility and confidence are not exclusive, so you can be humble and still project confidence.

It’s only the confidence that express humility. Real confidence is not to enter a room and think that you are superior. Real confidence is to enter a room and think that everybody is equal.

Many things that people ‘want’ are by-product of something larger.

The opposite also makes sense. Externally, be confident, to gain more trust. Internally, be humble, to seek new knowledge and cover blind spots.

Externally, be humble. Internally, be confident. Don’t read humility as a sign of incompetence.

Do not be arrogant. Do not be timid. Exude a humble confidence.

Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish them

Impostor Syndrome is interesting. Some of it is humility/faux humility, a survival mechanism; tries to preempt future humiliation. “What if they noticed I’m a fraud?” It’s also an inherent self-motivation tool. “I don’t deserve this. So I gotta earn it.”

The way to beat it is to recognize what’s happening subconsciously. It’s there to keep you on your toes. So be on your toes.

Always say what you mean and mean what you say. Express how you feel and don’t ever apologize for being real.

Confidence is the result of a lot of practice (in your field or activity). Humility is the result of being honest with yourself, that you’re not better (or worse) than anyone else.

Humble + confident = self-confidence pride + confident = overconfidence.

You are so important!! You make a difference!! You matter!! You are significant!! You deserve to be here!!

When life is sweet, say thank you and celebrate. When life is bitter, say thank you and be humble.

“Practice creates confidence. And confidence empowers you.”~ E|M

I’m more of a thinker than a talker.

“Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained.” ~- Marie Skłodowska-Curie

Accept your past with humility. Go forward with confidence into your brighter future.
